Actually if you can right click on their name as if to send them a tell, you can take the /tell and change it to /blist add "their name" (which is already there) and it will add them far easier than typing the entire name again.

Thats if you can manage to click on their names. Some are spamming so fast it's hard to click on it.
For tells it's easy. /blist add <r>

Tells are easy, but I got hit with the same wall in Ul'dah. I just backtracked the menu as I could eliminating one then the next until I got them all. I wish we could legally kill them while they are standing in town. Ran into Bayardo Hunt standing there mouth moving, spamming, and an hour later, he was still there, spamming, mouth moving. It's just sad they do this and ruin it for people.
Even ask someone to take the time to mail you a list of the spammers names and go to your mailmoogle and get them. Once you get one or two added, it gets better and you get a chance to get the rest. I have like 27 or 28 people on that blist now and all are gold spammers.
That's exactly what it looks like on Famfrit (new server). It is highly annoying to see a screen like that every single time you zone into a different city. I really feel bad for folks who want to/need to ask questions or get information via shout or yell. And imagine how off-putting it is/will be to anyone just starting the game. Their legitimate messages get lost in the garbage tornado.
This really needs to be fixed now. In all the MMOs I've played (some at launch, others joined in progress) over the past decade, I've NEVER seen spam this bad.
Please implement R-click, B-list (and report).
