Not being able to buy the amount I need, as opposed to entire stacks, is juts forcing me to level up all the crafts and harvest all my own stuff.

None of you greedy people will get my gil because I don't want to buy 99 of every item I need when I only need 1, so the market is effectively forcing people to get their own stuff and make their own stuff because we can't buy just what we need.

This isn't helping the market, it's killing it and making us be self sufficient instead of interdependent.

I think you shouldn't speak for everyone else. If you're too cheap to scroll down the list and buy the slightly more expensive (per unit) item being sold in a stack of 1, then that's your loss. Everyone else is smart enough to not wait for an item to be sold at its cheapest.

    It's not cheap, it's practical.

No one buy a case of widgets when they only need 1.

It's also not "smart" to wait for a good price just because you are forced to buy in bulk (the lower price might not happen so how smart is that?) much smarter to just get your own and have the amount you need when you need it, not waiting for better prices or smaller quantities that will probably never happen.

Not everyone want to be a reseller btw, we just want what we need, not surplus stock that we have to unload.

If this was true, then it's up to the seller to learn and not SELL a case of widgets when people only want to BUY one. It's an interactive scenario. It's not like because the first page are all stacks of 99, the next 5 pages will be.

Unfortunately, prices on most low-level items are so ridiculously low that people really are buying stacks of 99 and reselling or vendoring the remaining 98...sometimes for profit. >.>
