I feel like the majority of people that will use vanity will be cat girls wearing bikinis.

If all other MMOs that have had such a system are any indication the scantily clads will be there but not the majority by a long shot. The majority people will be using the system to make elaborate personal costumes that will look a heck of a lot better than the stock end game costumes.
