All Worlds Maintenance (Sept. 11)

Me and the rest of Asian and oceanic players always got our maintenance on our prime time in WoW. We sucked it up cos we knew its an American based company. Square is a Japanese based company, maybe its time our NA friends learn to do the same ^_^

They aren't adding the prolonged AFK disconnect at this time as well? nevermind about the content, probably something for "rushers" anyways.

And I'm on JP server so it doesn't really matter to me, but when are you guys going to start doing separate maintenance times for NA/EU data centers that are at more appropriate times of the day considering the time zone of the data center?

No matter what SE does, 90% of the people here find something wrong with it. They are trying to fix the problems were having and the only responses are "But I want to play at that time, can you put it off til later?" I am not paying to play yet, they can shut it down for a week if they have a weeks worth of tuning to do... whatever it takes to get the server deal ironed out.

Who cares when they do a maintenance. If your panties are in a knot about it, then I'd consider that an obvious sign that you need to re-evaluate your priorities in life. Which is more important, servers opening up finally, or you getting your escapism fix? Hmmm....

Once all the server issues are ironed out the maintenance lengths should come down for normal patches and they'll likely shift the time to something more friendly like FFXI's 12-3 pm EST standard. Oh and besides the technical items regarding staggering maintenances, that would just create bitching on Patch Day every couple of months when the JPs get to play the new content before the NA/EU players due to their maintenance finishing first, unless they're capable of applying an update and locking the content until both datacenters have the update.

Id guess later this week or next considering the maintenance is adding even more Worlds for new people to populate. Should get more details tomorrow or Wednesday.
