Me and the rest of Asian and oceanic players always got our maintenance on our prime time in WoW. We sucked it up cos we knew its an American based company. Square is a Japanese based company, maybe its time our NA friends learn to do the same ^_^

here the difference the majority should win if they have more players in Jap then fine if they have more here than they should at least attempt to adjust. Its only a day not on weekends I agree its not the end of the world but what we are saying here is each time they will affect us and not them and thats cool? I work for a bank myself we have had Asian prog firm work for us in the past they work the hours we tell them to with a smile because we pay them VERY well I have never heard a complaint about it all Asian I have had the privilege to work with has had tremendous work ethics lets not pretend like the workers don't want to work certain hours the company is not asking them.
Why they are not I do not know but the reason that they are Jap is not valid. My bank is Canadien yet we send out communication in several languages that we ourselve dont speak when our customer ask for it because we have a lot of client that are from China for example we don't say hey we are Canadien if you don't like it move back to china or do business elsewhere thats not how a professional company behaves. We do maintenance as well and despite the fact that our IT people are in the Vancouver office the majority of our business clients run on eastern time for us so we do our maintenance off their prime time because they are the majority not on pacific because the office happens to be located there. So if SE tells me hey listen 80% of our money comes from the Asian clients then ok I get it but if as I suspect they make most of their money from the American/Europe clients then they are simply not behave in a professional normal manner as a company.
