We voted to start with the boring fix up updates first remember? (Actually we voted on more content first. I was mistaken.) Yes, communication could be much better, but he hasn't really gone against his word.Because that was back when Yoshi-P was making promises and got people all excited thinking this will be the next great MMO in the coming weeks/patches....
Once the game came back online we saw things got slower, communication stopped and patches gave us nothing to be excited about.

actually we voted overwhelmingly for content first....he decided himself to spit in our faces and say i don't care what you want i am going to do this anyways.
he is not doing what the polls wanted and is doing whatever he wants so why make the polls to begin with? it was face time to make people have hope for the game. the hope is dying fast and yoshi took a sinking ship and started shooting holes in the floor to help it go down faster.

Smart. If we voted content first and good content takes 4 months to develop and if we voted UI fixes first and UI fixes take 2 weeks to develop should he put UI on the side until he releases the content 4 months down the road?actually we voted overwhelmingly for content first....he decided himself to spit in our faces and say i don't care what you want i am going to do this anyways.

And for the record, he has been pumping in content, its just not what we really care for and its not really for us any more its for the new wave of players they're anticipating. The next content patch should please us or fail the game.
actually in his own words he seen we wanted content, but was not going to work on content until after he completely changed the battle system. in other words what i posted earlier is spit in the polls faces. he put out the polls hoping they fit what he wanted then because they didn't he said oh well i don't care. nobody said he couldn't have been working on the battle(breaks because they are not fixing anything), but to say they put this that and everything else people were waiting on completely on hold was what he did. if he was working on both it'd be one thing, but he himself has stated he put it on hold.Smart. Well as Arcell said, combat needs to be fixed before we can move on to adding more content, because it's such a core mechanic to the game.actually in his own words he seen we wanted content, but was not going to work on content until after he completely changed the battle system. in other words what i posted earlier is spit in the polls faces. he put out the polls hoping they fit what he wanted then because they didn't he said oh well i don't care. nobody said he couldn't have been working on the battle(breaks because they are not fixing anything), but to say they put this that and everything else people were waiting on completely on hold was what he did. if he was working on both it'd be one thing, but he himself has stated he put it on hold.
Yoshi's not doing it to spite anyone. He's trying to set things up to give us what we want so we can enjoy the game.
Actually you can keep making stuff up but it doesn't change the fact that there is content being pumped out along with the battle system changes mid-June. That doesn't sound like "he just starting working on content" to me. You seem to think its only Yoshi and his family working on this game.actually in his own words he seen we wanted content, but was not going to work on content until after he completely changed the battle system. in other words what i posted earlier is spit in the polls faces. he put out the polls hoping they fit what he wanted then because they didn't he said oh well i don't care. nobody said he couldn't have been working on the battle(breaks because they are not fixing anything), but to say they put this that and everything else people were waiting on completely on hold was what he did. if he was working on both it'd be one thing, but he himself has stated he put it on hold.
and you seem to think the kind of content that people wanted were simple 1 line of text to kill one mob. just because some people think because the game has gotten better for them makes it better to everyone is, in fact, a very false assumption.Actually you can keep making stuff up but it doesn't change the fact that there is content being pumped out along with the battle system changes mid-June. Read my other topic and you'll know I'm not happy with the game. I was only saying that the side quests and guild tasks and NMs being released aren't for me and you or the next guy that's been playing this game since release, they're filler for the PS3 crowd that's expected soon. Furthermore, If you even cared to follow what SE was doing and has been saying, you would know that the battle system changes are coming along with a big injection of content which includes the Companies and Quest Hubs that he mentioned in his latest letter. Just because you think he started working on those last night doesn't make it real.
