This sums up my feels.Considering it's optimal to have only 1 character in this game, we'll most definitely see Phials added to the Mogstation sooner or later. It's inevitable and a good thing for people like me who like looking at new things once in awhile.
FFXI didn't have it, and you know what the majority of the PC player base did? They used Windower to change their race on the fly. From a business aspect, it would be silly for SE not to tap into the rich vein of cash that is Appearance/Race changes.
I'd like to see this added as well.I'm happy with my current character, but who knows, maybe someday down the road I'll get tired of playing a guy or will want to try being a Lalafell.
However, I'd prefer it was cheaper than $20. IMHO name changes (if/when they add them) are what should be expensive and have the long cooldown, and let's face it, if you're changing race and/or gender there's a good chance you will want to change your name as well. And if you only want to change things like height and facial features, you probably don't want to pay a lot for it, especially considering that the upcoming in-game barbershop will let you change your hair, eye color, and face paint.
Barbershop is coming in a few months. Unless you want to change race and sex. That item is going to be useless in a few months
For re customization there is already coming a barber shop and it would cost gil
They did it because some 1.0 players had trouble during the recreation of their old characters and because the benchmark character files didn't load during the process.
Because of this, only 1.0 players get Fantasia twice (be sure that the first Fantasia is not in the inventory if you get the second).

In the end they don't give a rat's ass what we think. Hell ya to cash shop, if it means more money for them and less gil spammers because there are safer ways for the buyers to get gold.
All I say is none of this pay to win bullshit
IMO, add them to the mogstation, just don't make them tradable and it's all good. If someone wants to pay $20 to change their appearance, that doesn't affect anyone else, so why not let them.

Purchasing item with cash that you turn around and sell for gil is not pay to win?
I'm not quite sure I follow...
If its bought with real money it should stay bound to the account that purchased it.
Many pay to play ones do, sadly after Guildwars 2 mess i never want to see Cash shops again..
Since you can buy the respec item for 10k GC seals, it would be cool to be able to buy these phials for lets say... They highest amount of seals you can hold at the highest GC rank? (i don't know how much seals you can hold at this rank but whatever the more the better)
"You want to change your appearance? Earn it!"
Then it would prevent from people being able to change their race/etc so often, since some people seem to bother about others players appearance decisions, while still be in the game for no real money. Just time and work.
Before anyone makes a similar thread about name change lets say it could be implemented the same way as another kind of Phial with the same requirement/cost.
Everyone's now happy!

I like the GC Seals idea, 40k seals would be a good number and you can only buy it once a month. I dunno, got a feeling they will put it on the mogstation for real money... I know I would from a business standpoint lol.
Regardless of what happens, I just want the option to be there...
Here's an idea.. whenever you purchase 30 days, 60 days, etc etc.. let us choose which Veteran Reward we want mailed?
