guys it's never a healer's fault for a dps who dies...
A tank ? maybe, we'd have to see case by case, but never for a dps, it's his own fault )))

This is way incorrect. Dps'ers get hit too. We cant avoid everything, especially casters who cant move while casting. There are times when I think I have enough time to finish casting and I get hit. That's totally absurd to put the life of a dpser strictly on himself. If the healer isnt doing their job then we can die through no fault of our own.
Now we shouldn't be needing to get healed as often as a tank, but we still need heals ... especially if we dps hard enough to take aggro from the mob (yes, this actually happens).
The bottom line is it's a group effort.

...oh please
Try replace your situation as a healer, you're standing in a red ring and your healing spell is about to finish. Your target is a DD who is about to die and you are about to get hit by the red circle, THEN you know how what the situation really feels like.
Ok, so as a caster you know what I mean. Why are you trying to start an argument over a perfectly valid comment? And why are you taking my comment personally? And as far as this goes:
If you believe this then you obviously haven't been playing MMO's very long. When your heals start drawing aggro, who has to save your ass?
Again, it's a group effort. No one single class can do it by themselves. So let's not turn this thread into a "My class is better than your's" flame war, ok people?

Oh I thought this thread was about responsibility and who is to blame, and your example is pretty bad in terms of responsibility, in fact your mistakes is the healers responsibility, that's what I'm saying and I even gave you the healer version, you don't seem too happy.
Again, a very very difficult task...what's your point? Do you think taking out adds appearing right in front of your screen to be hard? Given your long experience with MMO's, this shouldn't be an issue, but I am truly grateful for anyone who does their job.

The tank is the one who saves the healer's rear end, I've yet to have a healer pull aggro off me aside from the few moments after a heavy hitting pull.
If I pull hate as a healer then I see it as my own job to save my own ass for my mistake of pulling hate. I will usually repose the mob till the tank can pull it back off of me. Its not hard.
exactly the kind of mistake I wouldn't heal a DPS for
for now most aoes from bosses won't OS you, but in future instances it might not be the case, you should probably rethink how you're choosing to avoid aoes...
(maybe don't even try to end your cast and move right away, I do it even if I'm healing, why don't you, a dps, do it too ? )
