Earlier I was in the Shroud doing a quest. Game froze for a good 15 seconds. When it unfroze my health was at zero and no-one else was around so I had to return to my home point in Limsa.
Inconvenient isn't the word. The game is unplayable in this state.
Im keeping track of all the days im unable to play untill the lag issues and the 90000 issues are actually fixed. Once they are i will demanding account credit for the number of days
I am currently in the 90000 error instance...This is a long instance
I have a different ISP(AT&T Uverse) but I am experiencing the same problem.
What communication would you like from SE? They have said what the situation is with their servers. They have said what they have already done, and what they plan to do next week. They are going to continue adding more servers, work on duty finder issues and logoff AFK players. They are aware that running servers at near max capacity causes lag issues. Dev posts are easy to find on the right side of the main forum page.
This is a separate issue. The lag has nothing to do with capacity for this issue. It's a routing problem for people using particular ISPs.
So the communication we'd like is some acknowledgement of this as a discrete, separate issue, as well as what the company is intending to do or not do to remedy the issue.
Bump. Still receiving large amounts of lag and frequent error 90000 disconnects.
edit: The game is literally unplayable. Getting error 90000 within minutes of logging in.

Do not feel bad. I started with the beta testing and than paid for the didital upgrade of the collector's edition and I am still having lag problems and Runtime Error problems. In fact on Aug. 27 I wrote a ticket in the support area. On Aug. 28, I recieved a Notification e-mail from Square Enix thanking me for using their support system. It said I would hear back from them within 48 hours of this Notification. Today is Sept. 6, and I still have not heard back from them about my ticket. I have looked for a place to enter my ticket number to find out about it BUT there is no place to enter a ticket number in their support system.
