My most recent fit of rage was repeatedly dying goregimera's AoEs, despite being on the complete opposite side of him.
If it's not worth our time to even try to dodge AoE attacks, at least make the punishment for it represent that.

games engine works different than other games
you have to be out of the red circle before it disappears. if you aren't, you could teleport 50 yards away and still get hit. my guess is server just takes a snapshot of your character's location when the visual cue disappears.
chimeras are just punks, sorry
There's no valid reason why I should be getting hit by an attack when I've left the marker long before it goes off. As I said, I've managed to run far, far away from an AoE before the cue disappears, and I've still gotten hit.games engine works different than other games

All they'd have to do is have the information concerning whether the player is hit in relation to enemy AoEs handled clientside.
Oh wow, that video is nuts. I would rage hard as hell.
Indeed you are right on the money there. You have until the red disappears to move, if you move out after, you're hit regardless of where you are. If anyone has latency issues it's me, but I haven't died from anything other than sheer lazy and not paying attention lolgames engine works different than other games

Yeah, Ive noticed a definitely unforgiving delay in this game. If Im even having a tiny bit of latency that, coupled with the game delay itself, with kill me everytime. I shouldnt have to direct connect my internet to PC and shut off the wireless for my roommate because its screwing me up in a video game. ahahaha
I played Tera and didn't have this problem. Definitely a problem with the game also...Its too wide spread to try to deny with too many people having the same problem to deny it. I thought it was just me at first, but obviously not.
Clearly you two idiots did not watch the video that was linked. Clearly she was out of the red for most of the time it was even up.
