Since you're near 30 and only been to Sastasha I'm guessing you're not advancing the main storyline?

On topic, I would love to see mob grinding back but I'm sure it will stay dead. That type of gameplay just doesn't appeal to the masses and sadly the ones that we do like it are a small minority.
I want to know why very little to no combat, running around errands, talking to npc, picking fruit, watering gardens, traveling to this town, going here to talk to this npc, giving 10different npc items, traveling here on your chocobo, going here and talking to this npc etc, is so appealing to the masses. Literally 95% of the time spent on your chocobo, or talking to NPC's, Less than 5% spend in actual combat. How is that fun? I was so bored doing the story, I wanted to fight, I wanted to play my class, my character, kill things. The dungeons were super fun, the solo fights were nice, the ending of the story was INCREDIBLE, but the infinite errands...why SE, WHY?

Why exactly does this appeal to the masses so much? What is so fun about it?

Though I normally love quests, I have to admit, I wish more of the quests involved fighting the numerous mobs scattered around the hamlets. I don't mind an occasional item gathering quest, but there are too many of those and others like it. Good point. But otherwise, I love quests.
