I think you are all incorrect. You are unable to roll on equipment you already have. I know because it happend to me on a unique lance in Haukke Manor on 9/5. So whoever said that the glad rolled "need" on the same piece of equipment twice is incorrect. And also, im not sure if you are all just getting in bad groups but I have always played with tanks and healers who check with me if I need a piece of equipment before they decide to roll or not. And I also let them know if the equipment is junk for me so that they can roll and pick it up if they decide to play a DoW class later on. Try communicating with your party. It has always worked out for me.
