LNC/DRG Can't Roll Need

As I understood it they assign gear to specific classes for need or 1st served then u can greed if u want it but it goes to the class it was designed for first. I actually like it, its a way to control the loot whores that would roll on everything just because they can wear it. Not saying anyone here is but I can understand why they set it up this way. Loot whoring can ruin the game experience for alot of folks. Maybe they'll change gear designations but I love the limiting peoples ability to roll on gear thats really not suited for them.

The most interesting part about this bug (yes, I said bug), is that once you reach about level 40, DRG suddenly CAN roll need on scale gear.

Also, to the people claiming that DRG shouldn't roll on "tank" loot... we're not trying to. These pieces don't have parry, or any other tank stat. Instead, they have things like Accuracy, Strength, Crit, Determination, and other DPS stats on them. Please don't assume that every DRG is just being stupid, we know what we're talking about here. Scale mail was meant to be used by DRG, which is why we're given the option to use them in the first place. The fact that you can't roll need on <40 level scale mail is a bug or an oversight, pure and simple.

As a tank, I roll need and greed on everything that shows an increase of Def. But with that being said, I am going to start asking LNC/DRG if they want it before I need certain pieces. A good solution is to allow trading within instances for drops on those accidental misvotes. Maybe the intent to do this was so tanks would have an incentive to tank by rolling on some gear that could go to another job.... nah lol.

I would just like to point out two pieces of armor, both are scale mail, both can be worn by gld/pld mrd/war lnc/drg, Kokoroon's Scale Mail & Hetairos mail (formerly Solid Scale Mail), Kokoroon's is level 38, with 104 def & magic def, while Hetairos is level 50 with I think 102 def and like 64 magic def.
With this in mind I would assume scale mail is more suited for Lnc/Drg past 40, while before it's still an option for Tanks.
it's like previously said, just a filter on those pieces of armor set for certain classes.

Edit: I don't know why they took that function out of 1.0, everyone had their own little loot list, and you could gift drops to party members while still in the loot list.

This is broke for Lancers! I saw this thread and remembered it when I entered the Brayflox dungeon. I had no pink or green items equipped. A pink hands pops up for Gld Mrd and Lancer. I could not need on this. The attributes were Str, Vit, Det. I don't recall what it was made out of but it shouldn't matter because I'm currently wearing steel armor. The tank needed on it and got it. I was able to only need on an item that was for Disciples of War.

Point plank, the Need is broke for Lancers when it is also part of the role for GLD and MRD listed classes. Please fix.

People were upset about marauder and gladiator lotting on Foestriker tabard and so SE made it so that only DPSs could lot it. Now DPSs want tank-specific gear (MRD/GLD/LNC specific).

You are incorrect sir. What LNC you know is a tank? Item can't be tank gear if LNC is listed. If it was MRD/GLD only then yes that's tank gear.
