i live in Montreal,Canada using Videotron ( cable ) isp. No other mmo made me lag that much for no apparent reason. i check my ip /ports seems like im in the bad server ... thing is my friend logged on my character and it log on the same ip/port that i normally have the problemes with... my friend never got a lag never got dced. He lives 5minutes from my place and use different isp (dsl) so i guess my isp + the servers they are using isnt compatible. I would like to know if anyone around montreal is having the same problem

199.91.189.45:55023 yesterday before the mini maintenance i was using this ip laggy as hell... this morning im using 199.91.189.43:55023 i dont know why its different thoo but im still getting lag / dc error 90000

RCN Service in the United States has the same problem. I am in the New York City area but I've seen people from Pennsylvania, and Chicago having the same problems under the RCN ISP.

Has anyone done anything about this now? It's becoming a joke. You have had since Phase 4 beta to fix this and you still can't even make a 5 minute phone call to BT?

If you'd bothered to READ the thread you'd know damned well it's BT who are that jerks, not SE. The part of BT that is responsible for throttling is BT WHOLESALE who REFUSE to talk to anyone who isn't a PEER PROVIDER!

So, the part BT that can fix it WON'T TALK TO SE! Get that through your thick head before being a jerk towards SE.

Im with BT also and im getting same 7-11 lag. Goonna ring BT tomorrow as ive read if you sign up to new contract they wont have p2p management. Hope it helps

If people all over the world are having problems when they don't with any other MMO, then do you not think that SE have configured the games port usage poorly? It's quite clear that a whole bunch of worldwide ISPs see ARR traffic as P2P when they don't see other MMOs in the same way, on the same connection, at the same time of the evening.

So don't be an ass and tell people to get it through their thick head when yours is clearly thicker than most pal.

Frequency: Seems to fluctuate, I've been hit with lag followed shortly by error 90000 in as little as 30 seconds after logging in, but sometimes I can last about 30 minutes. This started yesterday, 9/5.

It might be worth noting that during beta phase 3 test 2 onward, I have occasionally experienced similar lag without the 90000 errors.
