Hi guys thought I would let you all know to clear this up, I read these posts and then logged into the game (no errors, woot!) and me and my OH both have received a message with a fantasia vial. We are both legacy accounts and both still on the free trial.

I think this might possibly be related to something else as the message from SE in-game only talked about thanking us for purchasing the original FFXIV. But the timing is a bit odd, so I guess it could be related to this benchmark bug. In any case, we're happy. Hopefully you legacy players have received one as well.

Is there a way for non 1.0's to get a Fantasia? I've already setup my subscription but I'm guessing you won't give me one until you charge me? which isn't until Oct 6th zzzz

I have a question.
I wasn't able to load my character data from the benchmark. I was able to get really close to my intended look, but now given the opportunity to change looks I might want to change name as well. Would it be inappropriate to use the name change application in this case?

No you can't. But I did notice it does let you alter your name day (birthday) and guardian diety!

Why not just give a name change with the vial? gonna be silly to have a female name on my male char now.. atleast till the 11th :P
