    Digital Upgrade to CE (My Account is Showing as Inactive)

    I posted about this earlier (http://goo.gl/D5cJtv) but I have run into an issue (read my first post first).

    My Service Account Status (indicated on Mogstation) is currently “inactive” for some reason. My account type is “none” and I do not have an option to digitally upgrade my service to collector’s edition (CE). I played version 1.0, participated in Beta since phase 2, and pre-ordered a digital copy of the game for a friend so that I could use early access.

    Anyone know why I am not being given the option to digital upgrade to CE or why my account is suddenly inactive?

    Damn...well please update us with the outcome. I too submitted a ticket, but I doubt I'll be hearing from SE any time soon.

    Has anyone else out there experienced this issue? Does anyone have a reasonable solution?

    No Dice...

    So I finally got through to phone support, these people are just unhelpful. SE has put these reps in-between a rock and a hard place because it sounds like there is little to nothing they can do.

    Anyways, I explained what is going on, and the rep simply replied that he couldn’t find any record of my playing 1.0. He saw I participated in FFXI Beta, FFXI for years, and FFXIV Beta and Pre-release, but couldn’t see that I played 1.0. He explained to me that my only option was to try and find the buddy code I used to play (seriously!?) or to go out and purchase the CE digital download version of ARR.

    I'm pissed, but was going to just bite the bullet and purchase the CE digital download version of ARR, but guess what? Its no longer being sold...

    I am on hold waiting to speak with phone support, again. This is ridiculous.

    Anyone else having better luck?
