What is being done about crashes from AMD Video card users?

HD7950 should be plenty fine, though you'd still get some random slowdowns, as is everybody else.

I'm running 7850 crossfire and it's working good, well as good as it can atm. I haven't got any crashes ingame, though sometimes alt-tabbing can result in a crash, especially if the client has been minimized for a long time.
Anyway you still haven't revealed us your system specs

I have an XFX Radeon 7970 Ghz Edition. No crashes here. Looks like something else is wrong with you system. Maybe a bad sector on your HDD or some bad memory.

AMD card on my computer and also my two brothers have AMD cards. None of us have had a random crash ever (been playing since alpha)

Tired of the solution being told "AMD is trash"... I am not buying another 200-300 dollar card for one game.

I have everything turned all the way down when I should be able to play max. Plus I am still getting random slow downs followed by a crash half the time.

I am running the latest beta drvier.. The game crashes with non beta and beta drivers.

had the same issue but since i updated to 13.8 beta 2 im fine, no more crashes.

I haven't crashed at all running an HD 7770 with the Phenom II X4 945 3Ghz. Except when Alt+Tabbing between programs.


Off topic would the HD7950 get me 60fps max settings?

I have the Vapor X 7950 3GB version and run the game at max settings 1920x1080. Unfortunately, I also have the issue with random crash to desktop. Happens inconsistently but mostly when transitioning to a cut scene or clicking an object. Heavy load situations like FATE's or dungeons I have zero problems. Crash never occurs when my machine's under heavy load, only seems to occur most frequently during transitions and interactions with objects.

I've crashed with Nvidia when I run into a new area and hit a brick wall then get a runtime error not sure if that is what happens to you.

On a somewhat relevant but not really relevant case, I am running the 7850 @ max settings with 1920x1080 with beta 2 driver.

My question is, when I use the mouse to turn while strafing (both mouse buttons held down, moving mouse left and right while pressing a/d to strafe), the graphics like stutter almost. It isn't too bad or anything it just makes the distant images shake a little bit. Do you guys think this is:

1) internet issue/ping/latency
2) mouse sensitivity issue (I use the razor abyssus - it's fairly sensitive from playing SC2)
or 3) GPU/System issues?

I ran the benchmark with a score of 7450 on max full screen 1920x1080, so I don't think it's the latter. Any tips would be appreciated!
