This didn't happen. Every group I've been with has been super nice. Like 20 Ifrit runs, not a single asshole. People got mad after usually 3 wipes, but thats fine. No one had an issue explaining the fight and I have never heard the ebay insult before, ever, in any mmo.

Agreed. Why do people just believe this story 100%?

I have done dozens of dungeon runs and my groups have never been so horrible. In fact, they have been for the most part very very polite. I can understand 1 person being a jerk but to just have the entire rest of the group gang up on one person for no reason just sounds bogus. OP is probably leaving something out of the story, probably gave the group a reason to lash out at him or is exaggerating things. I imagine what actually happened was they got in more of a back and forth argument.

Pics or it didn't happen. It is lame to fake stories and make the entire community just look like bullies OP, because as far as I've seen the community in this game is great.

Honestly it's a laugh. It doesn't really matter if it's true or not. It cut through my boredom with comedy.

That said, so far I have had two bad, but not horrible, experiences using the DF. Granted this is a public place, I don't wish to share the details out of tact. Who knows if the person will rage on me for stating my opinions? But just a general idea: Snarky, cocky pick-ups who find it necessary to make rude comments along the entire dungeon run. Jabs at pride and such. If any of you do this, please stop. It's distracting and lays a burden on the perception of the community as a whole.
