Been trying to call the number, I know it's been busy, but figure maybe I'd luck out and get in. Just hoping to talk to someone, so perhaps could just have issue fixed right away, like the EU players got theirs. Worth a shot at least. Or is it just a waste, and try chat support?
My ticket was updated, at 8:10 today, so guessing 11ish EST. Still like to know it is escalated to be fixed for sure.
I feel like a crack fiend
It seems like they couldn't implement a proper queue system even when it came to their call centers. Brilliant.
Been bouncing between 1 and 2 in the queue for the past 10 minutes.... I am scared.
It can't decide whether I'm 9th or 10th in queue.
I don't feel like a crack fiend or addict, I feel like someone impatient about stupid errors not being dealt with swiftly.
As an update to my situation, I just recieved the following reply to my ticket (which was created upon completing their service account merge form...
"Thank you for contacting the Square Enix Support Centre.
We are very sorry about the delay in replying to your query.
We are sorry to hear that you have accidentally registered your Collector's Edition of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to the wrong service account. Unfortunately, it is technically not possible to register FINAL FANTASY XIV 1.0 and FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to the same service account, as requested in your ticket. It would therefore not be possible to register the Collector's Edition items to service account 1 either.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I remember calling Nintendo support so many years ago, and it wasn't as bad as this to get through.

I spoke with Ethan B. on 5/1 chat and he escalated my ticket, saying it would probably take a day to a few days to sort out.
