    SCH Stat question

I've been leveling my ACN and have been putting points into INT but I am about to do my lvl 30 SCH quest and was wondering if you get a new set of attr points? Since technically ACN is a DD and SCH is a healer. Or will I have to grind the 10k GC seals and respec?

    Thanks in advance!

No unless Im missing something. You'll have to spend 10k seals to reroll, then 10k more if you ever want to go back. Seems like such a HUGE oversight to me

EDIT: if youre not going to switch back you can buy a reroll from your grand company for 10k seals

Yeah that is so dumb that if you wanna be a different job that you have to spend 10k GC points. This needs addressed for real.

You can put your stat points into your main class and go from there. It is unfortunate that an ACN gets 2 advanced classes that use different stats. Be thankful you basically get a free extra lvl50, all you have to pay is 10k GC Seals.

Or you can just do 15:15 split. These points are not going to make or break a character, not even remotely close. For min/maxing purposes sure, but they should not decide a fight or gate you from content.

SE should change the INT trait to MND when SCH is the job... is not logical get a int bonus on trait when our job works with MND.

But you already can do this with classes. I can switch from arcanist to marauder, and have the statpoints allocated the way i did it while leveling said marauder. The only problem here are arcanist jobs, because our main class (arcanist) has other stat preferences (int) than one of our jobs (scholar) who wants mind. Currently it is really solved in a bad way, gaining passive int, needing int for arcanist/summoner while wanting mind for scholar.

I read somewhere that scholars healing is based on int and not mnd. I don't thinks it's true because scholar AF doesn't even have int stats on it. But it would make sense to me if scholars healing worked with int instead because their supposed to be really smart lore wise and it would solve the issue of where to put attribute points.

The person who wrote that guide/wiki really needs to fix all this misinformation he's caused.

MND is scholar's main stat, and the only stat that helps healing besides determ(which barely helps it and isn't worth gearing for).

It is dumb the way this is setup. When you get your job you should be able to set your points up based on the job not the main class. Leveling as an ACN while putting all of your pts in MND was a pita until I hit 30 and could use cleric stance as a SCH. And also what are people supposed to do that did not know any better and are stick with a bunch of INT and farming for 10k seals is not an answer, no one else has to farm seals for their job as it was very clear what their main stat would be from the beginning.
