    If I remember correctly, it was error 1017 which indicates that the server is full. I don't think I have seen error 1012 before, containing the message that the client has to be updated.

    I think they are the same thing, servers are full. 10102 means unable to load NA/EU character list. From my understanding you get 1012 when you try to get in server while loading and get kick out. More information I found: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...93-Error-10102

    I wish I knew what my error was when I was trying to log in the client. I only had that once. =/
