Suggestion: More dynamic gameplay for healing

EXACTLY!! I refuse to reply to that guy, he already proved to me he's either a troll or his head is on completely backwards. Either way I can't talk to someone like that. Lina lux, just give up, this guy will not change his mind, he's in complete denial about everything and thinks this game is amazing and godly and the best MMO ever.

Lol I just can't stand how people can mindlessly accept the games mages as is. Some people don't like depth to anything. And Shiyo, I am glad we play on the same server makes me happy

If I were 'mindlessly' accepting things as they are, why would I even be here posting on this thread? Maybe if some people didn't 'mindlessly' agree how everything is supposedly 'bad' about the mage classes I wouldn't be here. What is most surprising is both of you have rank 35ish mages and are complaining on this thread as if you know all there is to being one in this game. Do you think I would have ranked up these classes if they were not enjoyable?

If you play this game 'mindlessly' then perhaps your experience will be just that. But there is some depth and complexities here in the game and I hope in the future there are more. I never said things were perfect and sunshine and butterflies. Like I absolutely abhor the conjurer AoE range, even though I managed with it and spot healed for 50 ranks. My point is, with the way the system is now it's not absolutely terrible, especially if you know what you're doing. And I'm sure the classes will only get more enjoyable in the future.

Experiencing stuff at ranks is a dumb way to go with things. You shouldn't have to experience how 'great' a mage class is at r50... that is just simply stupid.

I'm not saying that. Obviously there are things that get better as you rank up, but why would I have ever started if I didn't like the core elements of the classes? My point is, you play mindless you get mindless play.

I have said several times I need to ration spells and play conservatively in order to do the correct things at the correct time, otherwise risk losing a party member or wasting mp. That's not mindless. To me it sounds like you probably do leves and just spam heal and a regular attack every now and then. That sounds mindless. ^^:

I rather grind than only log in to do leves or sit there and wait for behest. I like the strategic part of final fantasy games and currently, there isn't much strategy at all. Spamming heals shouldn't be a choice, you should be penalized for doing it, but NOPE now we have mp regeneration if you spam.
