    And last, there are also many problems right now because of account issues (not only login issues) where SE's customer service is even dismissing unresolved tickets altogether after a couple of days. And didn't the guys at Costumer Service take the day(s) off in the middle of so many players with said account issues due to the unintuitive MogStation (that no one ever got to beta test in the first place) in addition to the people asking for a refund?

    Either way trying to sweep things under the rug will only make it worse.
    No ones bothered by it but the forums isn't the place to request one. He, just like so many others, just expect way to much out of an MMO. It's MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE not single player. Every single MMO has had similiar issues with their launch. You get the same mind numbing ass crying from all the people who lack the patience to wait it out. They're working on it. It's not like they took the money and ran and basically said SCREW YOU ALL! We are ALL dealing with the same issue. Besides when you buy computer software and you use the serial code you aren't really entitled to a refund especially if you click OKAY to the User Agreement because it states, in every online user agreement, that uptime and playtime is not 100% guaranteed and besides that they are giving us playtime back due to this issue.

I doubt it was Yoshi's decision to launch like this knowing the problems that were going to occur, but considering how rushed the release date was to begin with I wouldn't be surprised if some higher up pushed for this rushed release to appease investors.

    Which as usual did more harm than good. But who knows. /shrug

    It is when Costumer Service is down and there's no response even when it's up. Only thing people can do in this kind of situation is try to get the word around, and if it gets enough attention then maybe the Company will finally come with a reply.

    Also, asking for a refund should not be a bad thing. You buy a game and you expect to be able to play. And if you can't then you are justified to ask for a refund, regardless whether they are "working on it" or not. Look at Sim City, it got more attention because it was more of a single player game, but the denial of service is pretty much the same. And even EA agreed to refunds in the end.

    So how could you in good faith deny people's reasons to ask for a refund in that situation? Just because you want to wait that doesn't mean others should be forced to with no response to their legitimate complaints with the Company.

    And again, being more empathetic would be much better to defuse situations like this, because shoving the EULA and other "smart" replies on people already upset only makes things worse. But hey, to each their own.

    What it comes down to Raydeus is how do you expect people to empathize with people who A) feel entitled and B) don't read what they agree too. That is no ones fault but the person who agreed to the terms and services. That is their ignorance. You trying to justify a persons ineptitude just shows you lack any intelligence yourself.

    This doesn't happen with every game at launch...
    This shit didn't happen on SWTOR, didn't happen with DCUO, or FFXI, or The Secret World, or Defiance, or Darkfall: Unholy Wars.
    The only games this shit happened to in recent years was Guild Wars 2, and Diablo III.
    I've played way too many MMOs in my life, and I know that this isn't normal--it's appauling, and what is most unforgivable is SE's customer service and communication to it's players about the situation and what they're doing to solve it. Square has been in business too long for me to forgive them for this immence amount of disrespect and incompetence--they've successfully launched an MMO before--why the complete lack of disrespect? Not to mention the obvious lack on their part to not adopt successful business strategies from other competitive companies who run and maintain MMOs.

    Requesting a refund is fine, give it to him. Complaining about the current status of this game is fine too, how the hell else do you expect us to handle this atrocity?

    ChrisRPh-- I can't apologize on behalf of Sqaure, but as a fellow human being that is incredibly disappointed how this game launched, I am sorry this game is incredibly disappointing, I wish you the best of luck, my friend.
