You realize that after all the constant misuse of that phrase from people whilst completely disregarding its actual meaning that it's pretty much lost any meaning whatsoever, right?

It really isn't a fuck up. Consider this: FFXIV broke simultaneous log-in records. The log-in issues are getting worse. They have to do extensive testing on servers before putting them up. The success of this game could not have been estimated period.

A game so in demand that they have to wait to play? That's what people see. If anything it'll create more demand and curiosity. The game does play wonderfully, and is worth the wait. So just chill and knock out stuff around the house so you can go crazy after they add more servers.
