How many customer are they losing per day do you think?

This is only enticing more potential customers. Some people are reading: SE sucks at networking. The rest are reading: this game is so good everyone wants to get in. Just like the popular night club that has a long ass line outside, this game has a lot of people waiting to buy it and play it.

This shortage will work just like the wii shortage.

I don't think they are losing potential customers, they are gaining a lot more. Everyone I know who plays this game just can't get enough of it. They endure the log in stuff so they can get in a play this amazing game. Everyone who has logged in and played are annoyed that they can't play because the game is that good.

After tomorrow's maintenance I hope I can log in first try, but I won't care if I have to keep spamming the x key because I haven't minded it that much up until now.

I do not believe that many will leave until that free time for all accounts is u. Thats when we will see folks go or stay.
Personally i feel not many will go. Most folks who are complaining about these issues have had more game time then me XP

Are all the servers as full as the legacy servers? If not, and since they are adding new ones, why not just let people transfer and even out the load?

The main problem is there are far more people trying to log in then there is max capacity for all servers combined. The most simple fix to this is to add a 30min afk auto log out to character select screen. Each server has more people standing around sleeping then people actually playing the game. Finally, the cherry on top of all this is all the rmt spam accounts wasting up space as well, which should be banned accounts.

As long as the customers they are losing are of the toxic neckbeard variety, I would say it's nothing to worry about. At least the community will be more pleasant.

I know of several people that have it on the ps3 like me that keep complaining about the game after I talked them into getting it. I have the original ff14 that was so horrible the had to completely redo it with the realm reborn, and they are completely just skrewing this game off too. So there will be people leaving. Which is never good. I know all the retarded fanboys will keep saying "good maybe ill be able to log into the game."

(continued) I don't understand that mentality they are defending a game they cant even play and haven't had enough time in game to really say if its worth defending or not. Personally ive been enjoying the game (when I can actually log on). Ive continually been telling myself its all just the first week and it will be sorted out. But everyday several times a day from a company SOE that has had a long list of handling MMO's, and they cant figure out how to keep their servers up. They keep posting news that the shit is fixed, but an hour later its broken again. I know the slobbering fanboi's will defend and bad service SOE provides no matter what. But I ask you to think logically. The more people leave the shorter the games life will be. Just look at all the failed mmo's that have come out and acted the same way SOE has. You don't want people leaving in exodus it will make the life span of the game shorten in a major way.
