    OP, Sounds like you played too many MMO's and are just MMO-tired.

    1.5 global cooldown makes combat "Push all the buttons at the same on turbo mode!"-like. The 2.5 secs is just fine. Played WoW, my fingers always were "hurting" after a full day of playing the game. Haven't had that here...

    i think he may mean that the gameplay feel significantly slower and less dynamic if u have 2-3 seconds between u push out abilities - and while its better for ones fingers its also much more boring - more dynamisc more fun -_- but its all personal feeling -_- i for one have seen that lvling up is incredibly linear at least to 20 lv - hope on higher it has some non linear progress at least cause htere is nothign more boring then being forced to one linear quest chain in mmorpgs -_-

    Completely personal, "slower" attack makes for more tactical, faster makes for more frenetic. Which one you prefer is a question of taste.
