Agree to both set gear and set bonuses.

I think that every piece of gear should have its respective set.

    Crafting sets
    Magic sets
    Melee sets
    Tanking sets
    etc.

I would also like to see crafting stats and classes removed from some of the casting gear such as robes and hat for example:-

    Code:
    Velveteen Hat
    Hat

    Base: Undyed Velveteen
    Finish: Crow Feather Dressing
Favors: CON THM WVR ALC CUL BTN
    Optimal Rank: 36

    Attributes
    		Damage Cut
    Defense	35
    	Wind	1%
    Mg. Defense	68
    	Water	1%
    Evasion	14
    Resilience	50
    0	0	0	0	0	0

    MP +34
    Intelligence +2
    Mg. Craftsmanship +13
    Control +7
    Elemental Resistances +29
This piece of gear should be CON, THM only and WVR ALC CUL BTN should use the coif instead.

There is a distinct lack of shoes/boot for particular classes, add velveteen slippers for mages for example, right now I have to use toadskin shoes which doesn't really suit a mage class lol.

    Example
    CON, THM
    Velveteen Hat
    Velevteen Robe
    Velveteen Belt
    Velveteen Tights
    Velveteen Slippers

Bonus to PIE, MND and INT

I don't like the idea of taking away from any of the armor pieces, even something as small as taking optimum classes away. Maybe make new armor sets that appear more for specific classes, and the set bonuses affect those classes' abilities specifically, such as cures being more effective for CON, or sometimes stunning the target for GLA. But new armor sets I could post as I research what's currently out now and such.

Well it needs to be done to :-

    Make armor more unique.
Provide relevant stats to the class suitable to that gear.
Encourages classes to use the correct gear.

I would also ask and hope that the devs will make all gear level restricted, I hate the fact that a rank 10 CON can wear a rank 50 chainmail piece.

There is no need to make new armour sets when you can specialise existing armour and add individual pieces to complete the set.

    For example:-

    Robe/Hat/Tights/Slippers/Gloves (DoW set)
    6 Hempen
    16 Cotton
    26 Canvas
    36 Velveteen
    46 Linen
    48 Vintage

    Doublet Vest/Coif/Slops/Pattens/Half-gloves (DoH set)
    4 Hempen
    14 Cotton
    24 Canvas
    34 Velveteen
    44 Linen

    Jerkin/Straw Hat/Culottes/Gaiters/Work-gloves (DOL set)
    1 Weathered
    17 Sheepskin
    27 Dodoskin
    37 Leather
    47 Tarred Leather

Obviously there would be additional sets, such as Cowl set for mages, Coatee set for crafters

I prefer the normal Doublet over the doublet vest, Smithy gloves, and Thighboots Makes me look like a blacksmith.

There are many different pieces of gear with crafting and battle stats on them. Jerkins and Jackets have Mg Craft, beret's have Control and Mg craft

and there is even the Scale armor with Gathering for fishers...

What I think needs to happen is, more armor needs to have multiple stats for different disciplines to do something with them. I would like to see crafting stats on the Plate Armor, An armorer being empowered by the armor he/she creates. and the funny thing is, Plate armor Favors Armorer >.> but there is no reason for them to actually wear it: no crafting stats.

There is a lot of gear like that that favors certain classes but those classes have absolutely no reason to wear it (Doublets favoring Miner and Botanists, With no gathering stats).
