Anyone else tired of the JP servers being first.....?

Yeah, they're absolutely prioritizing JP servers. Why? Probably because the Japanese team has the ability / resources to deal with that. If I were you, I'd be really pissed at the NA or NA/EU overseer. SE is divided up into different divisions and unfortunately you have some seriously bad management in the NA/EU division. Or at least that's what it seems like.

I'm saying this because I don't want you to come out saying that this is some kind of racism / prejudice like so many others have.

if people think SE is doing this because of racism, they are morons. They didnt plan ahead for the numbers they sold. they didnt think ahead of time and make the changed needed. people have been preordering for months, it isnt like this snuck up on them. I like most people love the Japanese culture and i in no way think this is racism. I think it was due to shitty planning and yes focusing on the JP servers they are next to. the servers for NA/EU that are in canada were not well planned out. and instead of waiting a week to ship from japan they coulda taken some of the 90million and bought servers from local vendors. or send some of the traffic for the servers and have then be hosted on the JP servers. no its not great ping but atleast they would be up.

Its amazing that everyone is allowed to speak there mind without others beating them down for it.... oh wait thats not the case. Compare that to Japan where people still work together, pull together, work for the common good, live the life of polite civil discussion, do not whine, and wail at the drop of a hat and do not promote themself above others. All things being equal, you'll never ever see anything like the same magnitude of pointless complaint, self entitled whining, and aggressive, abusive ego-maniacal attitudes that you see on these forums.

SE has never been good about providing information to non-Japanese speakers. The amount of information we've been given with XIV has actually been pretty impressive considering SE's past. When it came to FFXI, a lot of us would have to rely on a community member to translate a Japanese post for us. To be honest, I really think they should hire more translators and more community representatives. You'd think they have enough... but I really don't know. Taking a long time to fix a problem is one thing -- having to wait on new servers being installed is understandable... but I feel like people would be a lot happier if we had more communication.

Says the person putting others down for there opinions. Yes america is a spoiled group of whiny people. Im an american, so deal with it, other non american people are complaining too. But honestly your opinion doesnt mean anything to me. It is however very rude for you to insult other people and so on. Japanese cultures are different from the US cultures so again.. deal with it. if you dont like what someone is saying simply ignore them. um are you forgetting oh idk... wow? i played that game for many many years. and yes they had server problems like all games do. but they had CLEAR communication and constantly updated us on whats going on and there efforts to fix it. on both the american and other servers. and im sure people will start complaining about that comment too but hey no biggie.

i havn't played on NA/EU yet but as far as logging in is concerned... i can't log in the JP servers if that makes you feel any better :P we're all in the same boat pretty much, it just seems harder on you because it's your experience~~
