Best 'FAIL LAUNCH' in MMO history

I'm tired of the server list indicating that the servers are up but you can't log in...guess what this means they are down square enix!!! I've been a part of 90%+ of MMO releases in the last 10+ years and yes there are some problems but they are usually resolved quickly usually within 3 days. This launch is almost at a week now and we still cannot log in, this launch takes the gold medal for fails.

Their data center sucks (Move to a better facility ASAP)
Their servers are under powered (Upgrade your Hardware!!!!!)
Their IT staff does not know how to fix the issues and they keep blowing smoke ( fire these freaks and hire real staff!!!)

Octavious: NO! I'm MAD because I personally can't get in! Take 4 more months fixing it instead because I want you to fix it my way and not yours, and my way is unreasonably long and overblown!

Do you even realize how long that would take, dude? I'll take their solution.

Their solution is still too little too late, I want this game to be big, but after this......idk SE pretty much put a gun to their head and pulled the trigger...

I dont know man, this really is the BEST fail launc ive been to

The game itself runs wonderfully, ive had very few disconnects, bugs or broken quests, the only issue i get is not being able to log in, or after I disconnect not being able to log back in until my character is logged out. These are *BIG* issues, however, considering that the servers are full at all times of day all of the time with hundreds of people trying to get into each one, I would call this a smashing success of a game, I dont see SE killing themselves off with this launch, so its a bit over-exaggerated.

(Im not defending SE in anyway of this debacle, dont white knight me bro, just trying to step back and put things in perspective, Im pretty mad at SE about not being able to play too, im currently looking at the login screen of doom)

LAST 10 YEARS? Wow, really?? Do you work for the industry, if "no", you don't have enough credentials.

The only fail I see here is you sir.

You can not log in, you can't speak to me about 'that'. I was on all last night and decided to log off without a worry. Yes I have problems about the 1017 also, that's why there's a technical service forum to rant in,lol!

Data centers were and always be the best thing SE has ever done for us players. I take money, effort and willingness of the company to put cuntomers first before their own economical needs.

I suggest you go apply for work if you think you have what it take to resolve their IT issues, if not, get back in line with the rest of us trying to log in and act silent.

For now, this is the greatest thread in HISTORY to be the one "blowing smoke".

not only that it's just all the hype and advertisement they put behind it. watching youtube videos of square enix staff unboxing the CE and please be excited and buy the game. everyone buy our game. well everyone did buy your game but where are they now? and maybe Wednesday or whatever will have a fix, but there is no denying they totally screwed up here.

For me I get in every day so its a great launch. Sorry for those having problems. Just know they will fix it.. they WILL give you more extra days blah blah blah...

No, its a real fail, played most of popular MMO last 5 years, was in early access, and yes, FF14 has more problem that previus games.
We dont need to work in industry, we are playing, and we have eyes and brain. And we see all this problems. Why where are havent slots for our characters was created 2-3 days ago? Why we was able to creat? And we cant login?

Everyone keeps saying biggest and best fail launch.... none of these people played Aion at launch lol. This is GREAT compared to their launch. Are there issues that need to be handled? Ooooh most definitely, but they have posted their intent to fix it in the upcoming maintenance. But, all the multiple temper-tantrums on the forums really wont do much. As for me, I'll just play a little Xbox, and hope I can get on later. I hope everyone has a good labor day.

Try logging in at a different time of day, if its peak hours, just expect 1017. Otherwise wait till after maintenance when they should have most of the logging issues resolved.
