Well you got in and that colours your opinion greatly. It's 1pm in the afternoon here in the UK, considered an off peak time, in the UK and the US and the log in restrictions are in place. Do you see having to spam log in for, as you said up to an hour acceptable. The whole launch event had been a fiasco.

I don't blame them for the servers being busy but what I do blame them for is how it has been handled. I agree with them that it would be a bad idea to have 10s of servers at launch only for them to be abandoned months down the line but there should have been plenty of back up servers in a ready state not ordering some and waiting for 'the UPS man' to deliver them. And the queue system, well it's not a queue system. It might sound good on paper not letting queues last for hours but when the alternative is to have people 'spam clicking' for the login lottery is terrible. I would rather be in a queue of 5000 and wait 2 hours than have to 'spam click' for 30-60 minutes
