Lol wow this community is just so torn. If this was their earliest convenience then I say good for them. Holding off on fixing the game so you can get your playtime? Selfish much?

Fyi. This is an international game. Not a cater to U.S.A game and I am american
I think he'd prefer to take down NA/EU servers during the JP prime time which is during late night/early morning for NA/EU and then do JP server maintenance during NA/EU prime time.

Honestly, why they have NA and EU on the same server is stupid as hell. Why not an NA region, Asian region, and EU region set up? Why is it this company brags about 1 million+ beta sign ups and wasn't ready for that come launch day? Why is it they have had 3 launches of MMOs now (FFXI, first FFXIV, and now 2.0) and still can't get it right? Why is this company not using its multi-billion dollared ass to fix this before it's a problem? Why did they take no note from every other MMO and implement anti-afk measures before the game was even in beta? Come now, let's stop white knighting for SE. I loved Square so much as a kid, they are no longer that company.

How's it feel having maintenance during YOUR prime time?

You're going to get the same reaction that you all give the rest of us, 'deal with it'.
I actually gave the same reaction for those other games actually, that it was bs and the companies should account for the time zone of the users and have the regions down during those regions' non-prime time hours. For an international corporation like most of the big MMO companies are, they could pull this off. And, honestly, for most they have been.
