Not only this but they have overflow servers and afk kicks......In guild wars 2, enemies in the overworld are given drawing priority over players at all times, meaning enemies never go invisible Ever. In FF14, if you enter a large scale FATE, good luck finding the enemies! (This is an even bigger problem on ps3).
I don't understand why Square hasn't implemented this system. When you enter a FATE and the only thing you can see are chocobos and minions, that's a problem. The priority chain should go: Enemies -> Party Members -> Other Players -> Other Players Minions. Anything else just doesn't make sense.
Again, GW2 already has this system and disappearing enemies is not a problem on that game because of it. I'd like to see something similar in ff14. And additionally, an option to hide all minions of other players would help tremendously too.

There are two buttons on your keyboard (if you use one) that help. Wanna know what they are?
Tab selects from among targets on the screen visible to your visual pane. Move that pane, and you can restrict what you tab target to.
OR
You can hit "0" on the number pad, which selects nearest NPC or target that you can allow (although this includes Bunkies and Egis). If you are near a boss in a FATE, it will attempt to target that.
I agree. Fiught Behemoth today and couldnt see him 75% of the fight.
Neither of these buttons will help with the issue brought up, which is enemies not appearing on your screen at all. There are two buttons on your keyboard (if you use one) that help. Wanna know what they are?

Is this a PS3 limitation, because my PC has never had problems loading everything at once.

Though that is a good question. Is it a spec limitation or a coded one or both? Though the answer doesn't solve the issue. Just curious. Hopefully gets sorted out before I hit those. Luckily most the time I'm on heal, so I just have to try to click through everyone's pets and minions to select the right target. Easy......... *sigh* Also Pets need their own filter. Sometimes I actually do want to heal the chocobo or carbuncle, but I don't want to select your mini behemoth.
But don't you know, GW2 invented everything and is the most innovative mmo ever.

SE please fix this, thanks![]()

Sounds like a codeing error that didn't come up during beta testing due to limited number of players and lack of a reason to mob fates due to the low level cap
