File a complaint to the BBB, what a joke lol. If you have time to post on this forum, you have time to request a charge back. Then, kindly see yourself out.

it's quite depressing isn't it? it's reasons like this why I don't like telling people that I play video games or that I like to mess with my computer and might like to go into programming/ computer security. The average maturity level of these people are about that of a 13 yr old, and it is the most embarrassing thing for people to think that I may belong to that group of "people". It's things like this that bring me into depression.
Thank you though Kazahashi, you showed me that that are at least some people who at least have a similar mindset to me. Stay classy my friend and don't forget to keep blacklisted these 13 year olds to maximize the Beauty that is FFXIV ^_^ have a good one man.

As much as I hate to admit, the analogy is horrible. If you pay to go to a cinema and watch a movie and they experience technical difficulties every 20 minutes, they directly disrupt your experience and you're entitled for a refund.
Wow.... just wow....I filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau due to not being able to play. I have asked them several times for a refund and they don't even reply to me.

Looks like somebody didn't read the terms of service he agreed to. One of the very first provisions states you cannot receive a refund if you already agreed to the ToS and / or input your activation code. If you checked the box, you agreed to this.
Yeah, this. Mentulaz you are all kinds of stupid.

I think we're all a bit addicted. Otherwise, why would people get angry at other people who don't log off? they need their fix and they need it now, lol.

You do realize the BBB is basically a "rating" site and they have absolutely no power at all. Good luck with that.

You do realise this is an MMO right? You could cancel your monthly payment and just enjoy the free 40ish days of play, then come back in a month or two once the server load bugs are sorted.
it hasn't even been a week since the official release and you're already whining like a spoilt kid. MMOs, especially popular ones, are riddled with bumpy starts (and major patches), it's pretty much an expected industry standard due everyone being stuck in the same area rather than spread around the world.. servers aren't designed for these types of loads, and the costs of making them capable of coping with it out weigh the long term benefits as once people are spread out, all that extra money and hardware you put in just for the few couple of weeks rough period goes entirely to waste as that type of load never/rarely ever appears again.
