NA/EU character list down again

I love this community.

Not only have they acknowledged the problem, they have also offered more free play time, said they are working on it. What more do you people want? To all those who are cancelling and leaving, good riddance. Missing out on a perfectly fine MMO just because you are impatient. Yeah, it sucks. But complaining about it and making threads on the matter over and over won't fix anything.

I had some trouble getting in this morning, but after a few attempts got in. I got kicked out of Odin EU a few hours ago, still locked out. But hey, had a good run today. Off to do something productive and carry on tomorrow.

How sad for people who has not been able to play for a couple of hours...
Me, along with alot of friends have been out of the game for over 24 hours now!
This is NOT acceptable!

A 2 week fully open beta before release is something to think about SE!

So because of the fact they support the Devs efforts and made a rather optimistic point they were paid to say it? Seems legit.

They're expecting things to be working correctly once the new servers are up and the load is balanced. I guarantee if problems persist they will ensure that the announced extra free week does not get eaten by more 1017 errors. By the way the login server was up and running after the recovery announcement it's just that as soon as an announcement happens people start spamming 0 again and the server gets overloaded AGAIN, forcing the techs to once again reset the whole thing.

More than likely what happened, but it's still no excuse for what's going on here. I mean, honestly, implement two things barring the server upgrades/expansions/fixes/whatever:

1) Auto-kick AFKers.
2) When I push the button to log in, it puts me in a queue (a true queue. Not a queue for login processing purposes). I am number 2,471 in the queue. As soon as that many players log out, it will log me in. Know what that'll do? Stop everyone from spamming the damned server with login requests.

I appreciate the game and what they've made it into, but there seems to be a general lack of common sense as it applies to handling the issues at hand.

Honestly even if they added the queue right now people would find more things to kick and cry about, I've seen people crying about avatar booty...

Try reading the Dev posts. This is literally the second thread on this forum.

Resolving AFK Character Issues

"From several users on some of our more congested Worlds, we have received requests for a feature which automatically logs out characters who are AFK for an extended period of time. We are actively looking into the implementation of such a feature, but have decided to first concentrate our efforts on increasing the number of Worlds and optimizing the Duty Finder servers."

Hopefully the people that keep complaining will be fed up and leave the game, which will make even more room on the updated servers.

Finally managed to get on to my actual character on an EU server. It's absolutely full of people afk, so selfish. Then to add insult to injury whilst actually playing the game I get kicked only to find I can't log back in. Talk about irony, an active player kicked whilst thousands stay inactive afk
