I see the clusterfuck continues. Some of us from this thread have started temp characters on Ridill, a JP server, to at least be able to play while we wait for the service account 2 fix. If you're tired of spamming CS to be repeatedly dropped or nicely told to fuck off, please feel free to join us.

Just spoke to live chat, and was advised that its no longer possible(feasible word they used) to provide a estimate time for the fix, due to the pure numbers of these cases. My ticket has been escalated on Friday, but its not going to be quick.

I was advised twice on the phone 24 hours max.

So we sit and wait then.

I'd be so happy with a 24 hour MAX time frame. I called in on Thursday night and had my ticket escalated. I've now reached the 60 hour mark. I honestly don't think they're fixing anything this weekend.

Mine was escalated Wednesday night, and now Sunday morning. No fix still. Poopy.

The accounts aren't "merged". CS will simply re-apply your registration code to service account 1 and in most cases service account 2 will remain active (based on reports from EU players who have had their accounts fixed). What most of been doing is once account 1 is confirmed to be working (by actually logging into the game) they cancel service account 2 to avoid further confusion.

One of the worst things about this situation for me is that I'm the leader of my Free Company on my server which has become very successful in the short time-span we've had to play. And of course now, because of this service account issue, I'm unable to join my FC mates . So, not only am I not able to enjoy the growth of my own Free Company alongside my FC mates, but it seems SE put another boot up my ass by not allowing me any sort of communication with my Friends playing the game. i.e. I can go to the Lodestone to view my Free Company and all of my friends but have no way of contacting them to alert them of my status, since SE made it so that you can not log into the Lodestone without any active characters on the account. Well DUH! They're on my original OB/EA service account! (I find it interesting that we can still log in on this page to add posts, yet we can't log in on the Lodestone, wtf?) All I can do is sit back in and watch all my friends advance and enjoy the game without me. That is of course... Assuming they all havent succumb to the same FATE as the rest of us... Why not? Using account 2 in the mean time will not affect your account 1 character in anyway.
