i agree i wanna join my friends on hyperion but the game wont let me at this time and im stuck on a japanese server and im from americaThere is a really big number of players that never got to play normally in their main server.. I'm from Hyperion but I always have a really hard time to enter when I get home from work.. I never wanted to play in other server but I really didn't had a choice
I think we all deserve ONE Free transfer so in 1 month or 2 when everything settles we will be able to tranfer the characters we are playing now to our main server
Squarenix I hope you can help us with this
Yoshi mentioned lengthening peoples free play time by a week to make up for losing a week of play for the problems, but I absolutely believe a free transfer should be included. I have several friends that all made toons on different servers because those were the only ones not blocked at the time. When I made a new toon, only two servers (Goblin and Malboro) were accepting, I made it on Goblin, told a friend, but by the time he finished creating his avatar, Goblin server was blocked and he had to make it on Malboro.
Now I have toons across three servers because we were all trying to move to the same world as best we could.
I remember other MMOs offering free transfers off of congested worlds when they would add in new ones. I sure hope they do it with this one.
@Hempen_Kecks: That was a lame answer in P4 Beta and Early Access, but it doesn't even apply now that the game is being paid for. That wasn't so much by choice as by what was available. When you start playing during paid time after everyone says the servers are fine, the stress tests are over, we're ready to Launch, then you kind of assume that when servers aren't allowing access it's because they were already full. Why would someone "choose" to wait for an opening on the server they want when you don't know if that opening will ever come? When you finish avatar creation and get to select your world, did the blocked worlds have a message that they weren't full and only had a temporary ban? NO! You simply find one with an opening. Not everyone uses Twitter or these forums before trying to play the new game they just purchased. As often as the new toon restrictions have been lifted and replaced it's kind of ridiculous to act like you don't understand why people would ask for a transfer at no additional cost. What I don't understand is why someone would be against it or post against it. Why? How does this affect you? What does it hurt in the grand scheme? It would only help SE's public image more to do this than to not and go with your answer of "oops, sorry, guess you should have waited a month after launch day for us to fix our problems."

That doesn't compensate people for their frustration, all it does is refund the time that was stolen from us. Has nothing to do with compensating for frustration the players suffered. They better do a hell of a lot better than that if they want to quell the frustrations of everyone, including those who were frustrated to the point of not wanting to play past the free trial. If they don't they stand to lose that business because of being cheap and not properly compensating people for their frustration.
