    SCH pet scaling

Hi, so apparently your Faerie's heals don't scale with your gear (easy to test - take off all your gear, spam Embrace then do it again with all gear on). I'm kind of worried that this will cause SCH to fall off once the game moves past its early phases - has there been any dev comments about this that I may have missed?

Have you tried with different weapons to see if they scale off your magic damage from weapons?

Your pets scale off your Weapon Damage, not your Mind/Int Potency.

it DOES scale with gear AND weapon :|, I've been saying this for forever now, you have to RESUMMON your pet for the new stats to take effect, not only that, all pets have a passive 80% AoE Damage Reduction (go and let your pet get hit by 100 needles see how much damage he takes).

I know I was very surprised that SE got that part of pet survivability right because most MMO DEVs who creates gear centric MMOs still fail to understand that pet need to scale with gear and in raid scene with instant death AoE pets needs to survive, but then SE failed at pet management.. typical SE =/

Oh, it's snapshot of stats when you summon it - awesome, thanks for the heads up.

All stats or does a specific one increase the pet stat? If it's locked to a certain amount that you have at the time of summoning then i think the potions that increase 1 stat for 15 seconds might become useful in a 8/24 man situation. e.g. using garuda drink INT potion before hand summon garuda, then after the potion wears off garuda would still have the "enhanced" stats.

And again, which stats - do we need to start hunting down STR gear for Ifrit and VIT for Titan, or do they run off caster stats?

I don't know actually which stat, my tests didn't get further than getting butt naked and dancing over mail box...I mean healing with or without gear, for all I know it could be VIT that affect pet healing! and knowing SE they probably did just that >.>, but your suggestion is interesting, but know this the pet update it's stat normally when you level sync in FATE or enter a dungeon (so you can't have an overpowered pet inside a dungeon even if you didn't resummon..) but once inside/level synced your trick may work.

Note that for some reason Cleric stance doesn't affect pet healing at all! this could mean 4 things:
    - pet healing scale of INT AND MND equally, so the switching still have the same total number.
    - pet always recognize the original amount of MND.
    - pet healing scale of VIT lol.
    - or Cleric stance INT<>MND switch doesn't actually work! and only the the 10% increase in damage is applied...but I only think that since I don't have a huge difference in INT and MND atm.

Pet healing is Mind. I tested that. I didn't test Summoner DPS pets but I assume all of them are int, even Ifrit/Titan(which are melee pets but doubt they scale off str and instead use melee range "spells" for their attacks). Cleric stance not working in my opinion is simply because it doesn't technically change your stats but give you a +int -mind buff, and your fairy doesn't inherit your buffs. Could test with a mind potion or mind food and see if she gets the increased healing out of that, but my guess is no.

Anecdata: Both my CNJ and my SCH would like to refute this. On CNJ30, I get an 80->110 damage jump. On SCH32, because I'm actually spent into INT (for SMN), when I flip, the MND goes down, but the damage stays about the same.
