Do you not think this has something to do with Blue Fog? I mean what are those factories doing up there that is creating the blue fog? That area is quite close to Mor Dhona too. Maybe the Garleans are draining energy from something.

I bet they drop from literally everything and anything you kill or farm in the game right now, just really rare. I bet they're intending for people to get their hands on these over the next week. The pre-war event is coming!!!

Gotten 7 of them from my latest fishing run while I was gathering, people also get them from killing. it seems there is a chance whenever we get shards/crystals to get a deaspected crystal, also woodwailers at camps in gridania are mentioning they have seen the mysterious figure spout doom and gloom like in the article.

Honestly this is rather exciting, if the game engine is built to impliment world events like this, I could definately see some pretty interesting world events happening as a pre expansion thing in the future, making it a semi living world I guess in a sense.

Those machines look just like the Garlean flying machines when you get close to them.

I somewhat think this is related to Hatching-Tide as the deaspected crystals are appearing in all three regions.
