The world is full please try again error - on character selection screen

I have been apart of many MMO launches, and I have never seen one this poorly handled. Are they seriously telling us the character select window servers are full? really? I have no words.

Same problem here.

Half the time the 'START' button is greyed out and then it says something along the lines of failed to connect to lobby server. Other times, it won't load NA/EU severs/characters, or it says world currently full before I even see/select a character.

I got through once this morning. Then friend gets on and says "Hey log in to my server and play with me" so I log out to find a grey start bar again...

Guy.. you're a fool for saying this. If you played WoW beta than you know how bad it can be... to this day it still has issues and its been running for 9+ years. Take the pickles out of your pooper and just let SE fix their issues... or better yet, why don't you fly to them and show them your expertise in the subject matter!! ^.^

These are a lot of similar issues they had when 1.0 launched so I don't expect any less. Just frustrating as its a holiday weekend and can't play. Time to hit the start error reload game...start error ...try again loop.

Heres the thing, WoW beta was nearly 10 years ago, and it wasn't a relaunch of an already existing MMO. The 2 times I have gotten to play this game were incredible, but it doesn't make up for the complete incompetence of Square-Enix's technical and customer service divisions. They had a failed initial product, then months of beta testing to get this right. Apologies, shedding a few tears for the camera and vague promises of making it up to us do not fly when it comes to consumer goods. If they are willing to take my money on day one, you better believe I expect a functional product day one.
