    From what I understand, if you put both of the same piece in the armoire in the inn, the duplicate will disappear

    Attempted that, it won't let me. Gives you the error of there already being an unique item in that container.

    Did this pretty early on though, so maybe they have adjusted it, will give it another shot when I am able to log back in.

    Attempted this again, verified that it doesn't let you add the duplicate set to the armoire since there is already a set in there.

    I put in a bug report on this when it happened, and reported it with the support desk in game linking the URL of the bug report. They responded with a copy/paste message suggesting that I submit a bug report.... So if this happens to you there isn't a lot of hope to get it resolved right away.
