This is odd to me. You would think the ticket would be enough and they would just knock them out as they come in. Instead it's like a lottery of who actually gets through to a person.
I just emailed everyone in the Square Enix press / public relations department. Here's hoping one of them reads my email rather than just trashing it.

Maybe once their PR people hear of how we're starting to spread horrible word of mouth they'll step in and try to quickly fix things.
I filled out the form and shortly after got an email saying my problem would be resolved within 48 hours.
Well it's been 48 hours, and absolutely nothing has changed. Where do I go from here? I can't even play the game anymore...

So, I was considering adding a PS3 FFXIV game to my account at some point. Given the long weekend and the want to play, does anyone reckon if I do purchase the PS3 disc and add that to my account (the service account I've tried since 11AM CST to access), that they will, eventually, fix this mess and apply the thirty days I have coming with my PC purchase?
Before the "Don't give SE more money for their effups." I get that, but this is the first subscriber based game in awhile that I can reckon spending some time with, so I'm willing to invest in something I had planned on anyways.
Ultimately, I'm gonna be bored this long weekend if I can't play and have given up on the possibility of doing so tonite. Maybe it'll magically be fixed in the morning, but 'till then, I'd like to know where my service account lies :: paging SQenix Forum moderators::

Apparently, yesterday, they cancelled a boat load of tickets that were 48 hours old. Depending on what time you made the ticket, it could have been cancelled. I sent in another ticket when the one I made last night was closed (without fixing the problem).
To anyone that has a ticket over 48 hours+ close it now. They made a statement (I showed 30+ pages ago) that said they closed all tickets or won't look at them that are 48 hours old due to congestion. So remake it.. they said this yesterday btw.
Ya i submitted one Monday night and that is the only email I have received...
