Don't see any reason whatsoever why that wouldn't work. I'd be willing to do that (really don't have much faith in SE's customer "support" whatsoever) if they hadn't halted sales of digital download, and it's impossible to get hold of a hard copy where I live. Unless I order it, of course - but hey, with my luck my account will actually be fixed by the time I receive my hard copy.
i can't even figure out how to contact them through chat. i go to support and it just shows me how to do a support ticket through email. no chat or phone number... yikes.. wft square. anyone have a link?
Well. I might just do that then. Only thing is, I put in a ticket already requesting them to merge my service accounts; should I revoke that merge request before I go out and buy a new code?Of course, it would work. If you value your time or long distance phone bill more than $30 - just go to a store and buy a new game.
Later on when the issue gets resolved you can try charging back or making a deal with SE to get your money back somehow.
If you bought CE when they resolve your ticket, a CE game code will apply to your main account, don't think extra 30 days will, though.

Lost track of when I first joined.
Got canceled on me again as well...F**k Square Enix!
I'm just really confused and don't want to wait on hold for another 4-5 hours just to ask them why the ticket I created, last night on the phone with customer service, was closed. Does that mean they merged my accounts and Mog Station just isn't reflecting it yet? Did they close it and not fix anything? I just want some clarification about what is going on.
