Just off 38 dungeon (i'm lvl 40) and micromanagement for Buff fairy is a must. she got 2 buffs skill speed, spell speed one overrides other , my party was all DoW, i command her to cast skill speed and after 5 second she casts spell speed overriding skill. Ability to lock skills is a basic of basics, this needs to be implemented ASAP!

I can see why you can't order the fairy during the cast so you have to actually commit to making decisions, but the AoEs just triggering on their own is very annoying. If I want to save them, I give up control of my fairy. Nerf numbers if you must, but I'd personally find it more engaging if more power was given to the player regarding its actions.

35 is given by the SCH NPC in the Coral Tower (Marauders Guild) in LL.

I've been running Ifrit (Hard) the past day on my SCH - Much fun to be had. SCH/WHM combo works perfectly on this, as WHM is able to nuke HP up after 2hr.

I just did this fight again, the tank told me at the beginning of the dungeon that the previous SCH couldn't do the last fight, I told him I did it before but with good geared tank (WAR), we got to the last fight and the PLD kept taking too much dmg for my liking it's not the poison as it maxed at around 100~ dmg per tic, it's manageable and I healed through that but was very close to death as I went oom twice healing him spamming Physick like no tomorrow, I told him I don't know but you are taking too much dmg for some reason, I honestly don't know what stat I should look at in Tanks to determine wither the run is going to be smooth or not, I think most SCHs are in the same position they end up with badly geared tanks and questioning their skill or the job, maybe WHM have it easier with bad tanks?

if you never went oom, then you never met a badly geared tank yet.

I haven't got much experience with it so I'm just curious about the potential.
I'm placing everything in MND so far, and it's pretty good for doing damage. I believe I have 30 or so more MND than INT as a SCH. All my spells hit harder as a SCH than as an ACN, but you lose the pet DPS, so it's a little lower overall. Never use Cleric Stance for healing, though.

The lack of a way to remove poisons really hurt, I had to give up placing my fairy because I spent too much time moving her out of poison and not enough healing, worked better just chasing the tank around.

Probably would've gone better if the DDs didnt keep standing in the poison making me have to heal them as well. Whenever I stopped spam healing the tank, he nearly died.

I imagine once I have succor and leeches it will be smoother, was still fun though

I haven't really had any troubles healing Brayflox. The last boss is only dangerous if the tank eats the breath attacks which hit for around 1000, and it's also immediately followed by a normal attack for a couple of hundred. I haven't found the stacking poison to be a problem myself; fairy is enough to heal through it alone. One run was pretty fun, though, when the tank lost around 75% of their HP from the breath.

But if you're having rouble with Brayflox poison, wait until you meet Tunnel Worm in Cutter's Cry. Undispellable 200/tick 30 second duration dot. At least I believe it's undisbellable. Didn't have Leeches yet.

I nearly went oom in some Cutter's Cry trash packs. They hit for a ton. Didn't help we were WAR, MNK, DRG, SCH, so we had zero CC.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.

Well you wanna glance at the levels of his gear, if its more than ~5 from the minimum level for the dungeon, he probably needs to upgrade. And of course he needs to be in tank armor not DD armor. Make sure he understands any gimmicks the boss has like all the poison gimmicks in Brayflox. If the boss is using AoEs and your tank isn't trying dodging them, that's a lot of damage you're healing. Tell your tank to make sure he's getting out of the AoE marker, even if it pisses your PGL off. Better to have an angry PGL than a dead party. Just cause they're the tank doesn't mean they have to take every hit.

I did Cutter's Cry last night as a 38 scholar. Again, none of the problems being described in the the above posts. When I had to face the poison, I used the heal shield and let the fairy work on healing the tank. It wasn't anywhere near as difficult as the final boss, which also wasn't too bad once I understand the mechanics.

Honestly, I think you guys are trying to micromanage too hard. The fairy works fine if you just let her be. I'd rather micromanage my healing instead of my pet.

I do not feel like healing is getting harder, if you had good timing early the game you should still have good timing by level 40. What I am noticing is that there is a much larger gap between good tanks and bad tanks. It's extremely apparent when your tank sucks and I've left groups straightaway because of it.

That was my exact problem last night when I did this even as white mage. Then I saw the tank had level 23 gear, some common level 30 but body / helm / accessories were all 23/25. So he ate my MP like no other, he missed one drop but in the end we gave the tank a brand new feet and helm piece to update himself with..but yes the tanks should check their gear..as should I which I found I got a piece or two lacking! Taking my own advice!

What are these fruits you speak of? We've been looking for a consumable that will clear poisons when Antidote stopping working, but haven't found it yet.
