Arg i made the bad decision in pugging that last night, the healer we got just didn't get the whole out of LOS thing...died every time, he would S key around in a panic everytime the boss disappeared.Having finished the "main storyline" the difficulty curves pretty well. I'd say Stone Vigil is probably the first decent challenge as you'll notice stuff hits a lot harder in there but once you have the boss mechanics figured out you should be able to clear it within the time limit.
I'd actually say Garuda at lv44 is the hardest fight in the storyline, at least it's the one I had the most wipes to by far. But it's well designed in that you can figure out her patterns as you go, get a bit further each time, and eventually get her down.
People should remember that the storyline quest is just that, a storyline. It feels like a throwback to the old days when FF stories were good, but this is an MMO and it's only a tiny part of the game.

I agree with most of the lv 50's in here.. from what i have seen on my bard the dungeons do progressivly get harder and the story is nice.. i mean look at wow where u could hit max lv in a day.. then all u had was endgame ... kinda refreshing to have a good storyline built in (even if i do skip thru it at times) and a bit of a journey to 50 instead of boom ur there all thats left is endgame

We had a bit of that, but once you figure out that she warps to the same places every time and know where those are it shouldn't be a problem. In theory anyway....

Easy? I did temple of qarn last night and it was hard as fuck - failed the first time, bit of trial and error. Guess I'm not as good as you.


If you really want to be technical, I think level 20 is something like 10% of the exp points you need to reach 50. You kind of missed my point (actually, I think I did a bad job of saying it), which was that I doubt 50% was actually a thought-out, calculated number. The guy just threw it in there for emphasis.

Wait until you try Stone Vigil, Garuda, or any of the 40-50 dungeons, you will be complaining about how bad PUGs suck.Ok just to say that i enjoy the game a lot... but this element really insult my intelligence and i'm really not alone.
Why did they decide to put the game soo easy that nobody seem to feel accomplish during the course of the game. The Grouping element is non-existent because no help is needed. Crafting is useless because new gear don't give advantage to beat enemies because it's not needed. Food is totally useless. Leveling sub class is a pain because brainless zergfest FATE. Sub class give cool skill to get better build to surpass difficulty, this is far the case.
Why remove elemental wheel too ? It was that complicated ? Also agro is not a problem at all, 3-4 enemies whit my glad and still not feel in danger...
"But there is dungeon, they are hard"... A chance !!! They should really buff every field enemies.
I'm sure they can do something about it, i'm asking everyone to talk about this, the more we expose the problem, the more they will do something about this.

Yea we have been 3 manning stuff because our DPS are levelling alittle slow, so running with 1 pug in dungeons...sofar every run they have died to multiple things.

The people were complaining class quests were too. They aren't hard, they are just very rigid on what you must do to win. People don't want to think, I guess.First it was too easy back in early Phase 3, I believe it was. Then people ask for more difficult quests and such. Then there are complaints that it's TOO difficult. Now it's too easy again. Can't please everyone, unless there was some sort of individual difficulty slider bar for each player or something.

Im not sure. I think the difficulty of this game is extremely high. Provided most of us cant even get in game. It's pretty hard spamming the character select button. XD
