This really. My recommendation would be to find a guild that represents how you like to play. Most guilds often having guild events where they all get together, plus you get to know other players that way, they essentially become your gaming family =) That's just my 2 cents. Find a guild and you shouldn't have to go alone =)
Once you join an active guild, with regular events even just a few times a week, that breaks up the opportunity for grinding solo.
Really at least one class will be levelled solo simply to get all the cookie quests out of the way. Its a necessary evil.
A lot of people are playing solo right now, my legacy shell included. People need time to adjust and time to run out of solo quests. Then it will be back to being more social with parties.
I'm honestly playing solo because with a legacy character you have most things unlocked but they all changed, hard to get used to and know what all my abilities do so I'm trying to learn how to play again. I have been going to my lower classes just to make it easier on myself by limiting abilities. Once I get the hang of it I dont plan to solo anything.
You should have played with plenty of people by 50....you have played in the dungeons, right?

more like a massive solo online game.
NPC's should not sell you anything with the main currency or give out free equipment.
everything right now is made to XP thats it, i sure dont wanna do it again.
now i know this game aint for me, i dont even want to login.
You chose to do activities that got you to max level the quickest, passing up opportunities to group with other people. That's fine and dandy, but don't say there's nothing to do as a group. There's plenty to do as a group. I've played the entire game so far with 3 other people, grouping up and doing FATEs, doing dungeons as they unlock in the story, gathering and crafting together. The game is what you make of it, and you chose the path of least resistance. Don't cry about it.
A game doesn't have to hand you everything. It doesn't have to handhold you through grouping or making group-based projects / missions. People rely WAY too much on the game designers / game mechanics to force them to group so they can say they were part of the "massive multiplayer" part of it and yet, when given the choice to do so or not to do so, they choose to do it alone and then complain.
I have no sympathy for you or anyone like you.
War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.
This isn't FFXI, just fyi. As much as you might want this to be a different game I believe its time you came to grips with reality. Sorry if this sounds harsh.
Actually it is fastest to do FATEs in a party as you can handle higher level ones. Thats the fastest way to level. Dungeons are also great exp you shouldve done thise instead of questing, its just as fast. You just played wrong if you wanted the mmo experience.
OP, so you're one of the many who has stayed logged into the game while us other players cannot log in. Thank you. Btw, there's more to the game than just capping one class/job! Do everything and get your money's worth!
They need to make all these solo quests group-able quests. All they have to do is remove the level bonus for grouped players. You know how you get +4 levels. Take that away if you have 2 or more.
Having 2 players never hurt my fun in guild wars 2 ... and it was single player.
Also we REALLY need a Toggle-Able level sync. I have all jobs 50 almost and that means my ability to play with newer friends is limited unless I make an alt - which I don't want to. So they should let us just flip a switch and be the level of our friends
