Man up son damnThis so much. Every person I have encounter is either a rude greedy person OR a complete jackass. This community is like Call of Duty. "Ha i'm a level 50 noobs gtfo". nobody gives a **** about other people. I go around helping people and what do I get? "GTFO noob I didn't need your help!" "Get away". The community gives a bad taste as this is my first MMO. An I thought mmos were for "friendly" people to have a good time be helpful.

If you're purely looking at grouping as a way to tackle difficult situations, then maybe that's why you're not finding it fun. I group to have fun. Period. I group with my friends to have fun and be social in the game that we're enjoying. Could I do it by myself? Sure, but to me it's WAY more fun when myself and 3 of my friends are running through dungeons making asses of ourselves.WHY GROUPING ? the game give no challenge at all, the solo story is a joke in difficulty. There is no point at all to group. This game is a MMO-End game only. Poeple don't care each other, they just ''i'm doing my quest''. Fate is a zerfest fest whit no grouping strategy... They really destroy the game and the sense of community...
War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.

This isn't FFXI, just fyi. As much as you might want this to be a different game I believe its time you came to grips with reality. Sorry if this sounds harsh.
Actually it is fastest to do FATEs in a party as you can handle higher level ones. Thats the fastest way to level. Dungeons are also great exp you shouldve done thise instead of questing, its just as fast. You just played wrong if you wanted the mmo experience.

They need to make all these solo quests group-able quests. All they have to do is remove the level bonus for grouped players. You know how you get +4 levels. Take that away if you have 2 or more.
Having 2 players never hurt my fun in guild wars 2 ... and it was single player.
Also we REALLY need a Toggle-Able level sync. I have all jobs 50 almost and that means my ability to play with newer friends is limited unless I make an alt - which I don't want to. So they should let us just flip a switch and be the level of our friends
Good MMOs don't force you into grouping with people at all times, and don't force you to rely on people at all times. They make it super easy for you to socialize with others, without holding your head under water the whole time. I made plenty of friends forming local parties, joining new linkshells, answering shout questions, and chatting with people in dungeons. You chose the full solo path and to be anti-social, now deal with it.

so basically OP:
You wonder why there were no groups when you completed absolutely every quest solo without looking for a group.
You get told that there's a bonus if you complete fates in a full party, but you'd rather do the fates solo, but where's the groups?
You refuse to do dungeons, which are forced party content, because they take too long to kill a monster. Though the exp is awarded at the END of the dungeons.
You want to be able to go outside and just slaughter mobs for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours with a group ala FFXI, even though the exp in ARR is rewarded on quest completions and the kill exp is minimal.
I think you're trying too hard to find a problem.
Welcome to modern MMORPGs, post WoW, where single player is the dominant form of playing and where every game except WoW that follows this formula fails (to remain sub-based or retain players). As a side bonus you get a lot of clueless brats playing and spewing idiocy both in game and on the forums.
This game is shiny and new, hyped and loaded with fanboys, but it's ultimately in the same mold as all the failures - way too much solo ez mode, way too little group content. An (optional) instance every once in a while really isn't much group content. Zerging fates isn't group content. Guildhests where you zone in, annihilate easy mobs, are done in 5 minutes or less, and zone out aren't much of grouping. It's the same as every post WoW clone/failure. Solo to cap with ease in no time and you've finished 80-90% of the game's content.
Some players are "casual" or clueless or whatever and will take a little longer to level. Designing the majority of content around the worst players is just weak and does nothing for the rest of the players and doesn't encourage such players to grow and become stronger, it just lets them wallow in mediocrity.
If there isn't a ridiculous amount of endgame this will be SWTOR 2.0. Flooded release, most players gone in 3-6 months (probably less for this game since it's much lighter in content and more simplistic), F2P candidate within a year.
An MMORPG doesn't need a ton of players to be successful. The original formula of EQ, DAoC, FFXI was never broken. Those games are some of the few that still have subs (and they're still going today). The games that deviate and try to appeal to soloists and casuals fail because that style isn't going to create strong communities and isn't going to have content worthy of a sub and years of play. Single player content isn't worth a sub. All you really do is jack up your numbers - sorta neato for the company making the game but since the majority of those players are lower quality and not suited to long term MMORPG play, it kind of sucks for players who want a stable and fun game for years.
"nothing preventing them from making a party"
Yes, because 2-4 players against content designed for the most incapable and clueless soloist is fun. You need a group to kill 3 squirrels. They're so ferocious.
I'm on Excalibur and I find it to be a very friendly server. I've enjoyed many random groups as I do like helping out people who ask for help. I rather like it this way, to be honest. FF11 parties are fun when you get them, but most of the time, being forced into a situation where you are grouped isn't so fun. In WoW, you're forced to play with people who don't really care to play, they're just there for the loot. In LOTRO where you can solo everything, the community is just ... meh. Here, yes there are trolls, but there are more people willing to give a hand, whether it's advice or volunteering their time to run low level dungeons.
I enjoy helping people. I define what MMO means to me. If you want this to be an MMO, then make it so. Make or join an LS. Make or join an FC. Laugh. Make friends. Enjoy the community.
Kale Angaros - Comradery LS - Excalibur

They will probably add more difficult , story quest and hopefully ( group only story quest outside of dungeons if you make enough noise about it) , dungeons , raids , i know pvp will be difficult so i dont even need to add this , primals , etc whenver they release updates
I can make this person really mad easily if i wanted to, all of this stuff his / her posted is nothing but troll bait and its really sad how easy some of you people make it.
