FFXIV wheres the MMO?

1. I don't understand fate leveling. I don't get it. These massive groups in zones running from FATE to FATE. They do realize there's an actual game to be played right and it doesn't all start at 50. Another rant for another time.

2. I've done five instances in FFXIV. Two of the starter dungeons, and there's been communication in each of them. The last one I did was us talking to each other casually and formulating a quick plan for the final boss. You can have as much communication as you want, you just need to communicate. Nobody is going to come up and tap on your shoulder and start a conversation if that's what you're asking.

People rush to 50 because the game is pitifully easy while all the difficulty is shoved to "endgame".

most of the lucrative MMO's are fairly easy till max level. Luckily games can be fun and somewhat easy all at the same time! Who knew!

How do all these people get to lvl 50 so fast? What am I doing wrong? I run around chasing fates and doing dungeons... Tell us your secret! I play for hours! I really want to just get lvl 50 out of the way to level another class.

People are playing from B4 so it's not that hard to get to 50 if you really go for it.

Was saying this in Beta, that Guildhests and Dungeons need to give more experience to encourage repeat runs.

But the whole solo quest vs group content thing is a little moot, given that quests can only be done once and most people are likely to level at least two or three classes to 50.
