I'm sorry to tell you, but I've received the CE items on my Legacy toon and two other new toons.
Don't be sorry, this is great for me to hear. It means there is something that can be addressed by SE, if needed. I would be upset to learn that the items are for only 1 character, and I had no way to fix it.
Did you get them from Moogle Mail each time? ALSO, did you do anything special to register the items? I never did anything except log in with my old account.

I understand I may be asking a stupid question, but have you logged out from the character in question and logged back in? That's what the majority of people are having to do to get the mail to show.
Not a stupid question. I did log off and back on. But I will try again when I'm back home. Crossing my fingers that the items will be waiting for me!
Just to confirm for everyone, those items are definitely account wide (like everyone else said). They were waiting for me when I logged on like 5 mins ago. I was also able to claim them on a 2nd throw-away character I started last night, since I'm still unable to log into my main during peak times.
