Regarding Preparations to Increase the Capacity of our Data Centers

That's just AWESOME,but I have to ask with all the whiners during beta about Legacy players why would you have so many new players on a Legacy server?I played in the morning yesterday and went to Gamestop to pick up my cheesy station 3 copy of FFXIV and when I got back I didn't just get the "The world is currently full please try again later your in cue "and whatever position in cue you were"I got the "The World is currently full please try again later"So basically I logged to waste another $45 or so to pick up my Cheesy station 3 copy @ 2pm and couldn't log back in the rest of the day up until I went to bed @10pm...your just AWESOME.....EPIC Failure once again on Square Enix's part.

Actually once again like a lot of other people you have it WRONG they originally announced expanding the Japanese servers capacity instead of all servers.That being said SE looked like they once again were showing Japanese players more support then the rest of us.Please stop kissing up to SE they really fumbled the ball once again!

Ok this is all great and nice and all but the question I have no one has asked yet. What are you going to do for those people that had owned FFXIV v1.0 that you have given 14 days to? If this fix wont be in until sometime next week or later that means they wont be able to try the game to even see if they want to come back to play. I thought the whole point of giving those people 14 days was do intice them back into the game so that they would see all the changes and decide if they want to start paying the monthly fee again.

All I can say is a Thank you to Yoshi-P and team. I have faith for this game and what Yoshi-P strives to accomplish. It is still my opinion that the game was released too early with the lacking of a proper Phase 4 Open Beta test. But either way, I'm enjoying the game.

There are plenty of wrinkles to iron out but baby steps. Negotiate each problem efficiently one at a time. I know you got your hands full and the stressful pressure from the community can weigh heavily on ya. But there are plenty here that support you.

Thank you very much for playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Currently, an extremely high number of players are enjoying the game. Should the number of players continue to increase at the current pace, there is the possibility that our expectations and server capacity will be greatly surpassed. Therefore, in order to maintain a stable gameplay environment, we are implementing login and character creation restrictions.

In order to be able to welcome a drastically greater number of players, we are starting as early as this week with preparations to increase our facilities, to be ready by early next week. Until that time, we will be continuing to implement these restrictions as required, and we ask for your understanding and patience.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and once again thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

No they didn't. You misinterpreted it. They explained in the OP of this very thread. Stop putting your misunderstanding on them. I didn't read into the orginal statement that it was JP only. They said they were increasing their facilities, period. They didn't say they were increasing JP facilities only at any point. You jumped to conclusions and misunderstood what they were saying.

Could they have put the info in two seperate posts? Sure.
If you were unsure, should you have requested clarification rather than just assuming the worst? Most definitely.

Please find me where they said they were increasing JP capacity only then I will humbly apologise because I can admit when I am wrong.

No. Its you bunch who misinterpreted a statement and jumped to a negative conclusion like a bunch of emotional schoolgirl. And now that you feel like a bunch of dicks, you want to make up ridiculous excuse to blame SE as if it was their fault that you acted in such way or you somehow feel wronged. Seriously, grow up. And your whining is not constructive criticism by the way so don't even pull that card out. Constructive criticism would involve exploring the possible context out of an vague official statement and not straight out drawing your opinion out of your ass as facts.

I would also like to know what "increased server capacity" means. I haven't been able to get onto the Diabolos server since Monday. I've been playing on a JP server because I can log into that one every time, no problem. (Not inciting a conspiracy, just say) I would prefer to be on the NA world I picked during Phase 4, but we shall see. Ultimately I would just like to play the game with the character I want. I don't want to start over constantly or spam "start, enter world with this character; yes, the world is currently full Error 1017, start enter world with this character...." for 45+ mins to hope to get on.

(Although, I have made a game of it to see if i can click the buttons without looking at the screen. Like to see if I can just muscle memory how far I have to move the cursor to click the buttons without looking. I'm not at 100% yet, but if we have to wait another week for congestion relief; I'll get there!)

Wake up SE issued a statement stating both NA and EU servers would also be included in increased server capacity after it's initial statement Aegis posted which translates into a SE error...CORRECT?You want constructive criticism the game shouldn't have been released SE should have took another week or 2 to polish and fix the servers.The server issues have benn happening all thru beta from alpha to Phase 4....how's that for constructive?

Calling people children because they complain about having to login constantly instead of just having a queue is insensitive on your part. This is poor server management on Square's part don't blame the paying customers.
