SE already know about server problems

I'm sorry I'm not going to feel sorry for some guy crying his eyes out cause he was an idiot. All the server problems they are having were infact 100% avoidable. SE knew exactly how many people were going to play and still they did nothing to make sure their severs could handle the load. On top of that when they sat there and looked at it they said "Uh better make sure people that payed us don't play our game." and decided to make 1017 and prevent people from playing just to "Fix the issue". Sorry but I have no sympathy for a company that sits and does nothing and when they do do something that something is deny people of a product they payed for.

This is, sadly, exactly the problem. If SE was pumping out updates regularly, I know I'd be mollified a bit. "Hey, we're going to add more servers/expand the queue/add an AFK timer/etc" would go a long way towards soothing us. More information, not less, will calm an already-annoyed population down. Something breaks in, say, WoW or the like? Blizz responds, posts in forums, etc. Someone on Squeenix's side really needs to start doing this, posthaste.

you know this doesnt solve anything right? ofc they know, everyone knew this was about to happen after what started saturday and finally happened on sunday. i just hope they learn the lesson and fix it asap, preferable before the weekend =P

if not i hope they at least give us equivalent free time to compensate for this, if this drag for more then a couple of days most wont even be able to create a character and play the game.

If they gave me some extra time for not being able to play now, I'd be alright with that. Or hell, even boosted experience gain for a little while for people who were meant to be early access so they can catch up to friends

Assuming you already have your character made. If not, that they open up and increase server capacities so people can actually play with their friends/family. Well I hope to see y'all in game once everything get hammered out. Good luck to getting in everyone!

Crying about it doesnt solve my inability to log in. Properly reviewing how many people ordered the game, and setting up enough servers to handle a majority of them ... would solve this problem. I dont know how they *didnt know how popular* this game would be, they had pre order numbers ...
